Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This was a commissioned painting.
Marriage of the Martinis was completed in my home studio in Shelby, North Carolina, c2008.
Media: Marriage of the Martinis was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
