Tar Heel Born - Tar Heel Bred III metal print by Torrie Smiley. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I'm a Tar Heel Born, I'm a Tar Heel Bred, and when I die, I'm a Tar Heel Dead! ~ I am a Tar Heel Mom, and this is my newest version of Tar Heel Born, Tar Heel Bred. It seems during basketball season, I am inspired to paint by UNC Chapel Hill themed art~

Tar Heel Born, Tar Heel Bred III was completed in my home studio in Shelby, North Carolina. c2009.
Media: Tar Heel Born, Tar Heel Bred III was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
