The Rooster II metal print by Torrie Smiley. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Title: The Rooster II
Size: 12" x 12"
The Rooster II is a brightly colored rooster with a muted yellow background. The rooster's tail is thickly painted with red, blue, green, turquoise, and a dash of purple. I love painting roosters, I really should paint more of them!
If you would like a rooster of a different size or using different colors, I will be happy to create your own special rooster.
The Rooster II was completed in my home studio in Shelby, North Carolina, c2008.
Media: The Rooster II was painted using professional artist grade oil paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
