Yellow Pear II - Redux metal print by Torrie Smiley. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Yellow Pear II - Redux is my entry to the 2010 Redux show at EBSQart.com.
This was so much fun to do~ I selected one of my early pear paintings from 2005. I have painted so many pears over the years, 2005 is just about where the pear phase started. These were both painted using acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas.

Media: Yellow Pear II - Redux was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
