It starts with wandering around the wine aisle at the store, searching for that special bottle....it really has very little to do with the wine, it is all about the bottle.
The first in the 2007 Wine Series is a 2002 Georges Dubceuf Merlot Reserve. I think the brightly colored abstract bottle with poppies on the label is a distinctive start to the 2007 Wine Series.

Glass of Merlot was completed in my home studio in Shelby, c2007.
Media: Glass of Merlot was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a deep gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
Miscellaneous: A Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist will be provided for your records.
